IJABE’s latest JCR Impact Factor reaches 3.1, surpassing 3 for the first time, ranking 7th in Agricultural Engineering and placed in Q2

According to Journal Citation ReportsTM (JCRTM) 2025 released by Clarivate Analytics on June 17, 2026, the International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (IJABE) has achieved a latest Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 3.1, hitting a new record with steady growth. It ranks 7th among all global journals in the agricultural engineering discipline and is categorized in the Q2 zone based on Journal Impact Factor Percentile.
Key Information of the 2026 JCR Report Clarivate Analytics unveiled the 2026 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) on June 17, 2026. This edition covers 22 643 journals across 254 subject categories. A total of 819 Chinese journals are indexed, including 677 journals from Chinese mainland, 59 from Hong Kong of China and 83 from Taiwan of China. Seventy journals from Chinese mainland claim top-three rankings across 84 subject categories.
As an open-access international English journal, IJABE attains a JIF of 3.1 and a 5-year impact factor of 3.7, marking continuous improvement and a historic breakthrough. Among the 22 agricultural engineering journals with valid impact factors worldwide, IJABE secures the 7th position and falls into the Q2 percentile tier of the discipline.
